The Union de Colonos, or Homeowner's Association, was founded on March 22, 1975, and holds its Annual Assembly meeting each January, where members are presented with balances and budgets, and reports from the Manager, President and Board Members covering a previously-approved agenda in the Assembly.
Joining the Union de Colonos is mandatory for all who purchase lots, homes or condos in the Complex, as well as the payment of dues approved by vote in the Assembly Meetings. Voting is personal, but members may name a representative to vote in their name at the Assembly Meetings.
